Aric Demings is a dynamic collegiate point guard known for his leadership, playmaking ability, and competitive edge. Originally from Duncanville, Texas, Aric developed his foundation at powerhouse Duncanville High School, one of the most successful high school basketball programs in the country. During his time there, he helped lead the Panthers to multiple Texas 6A state championships and a USA Today national title while earning First Team All-District honors and averaging 12.2 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 40% from three-point range.
Following high school, Aric began his collegiate career at Utah Tech University, where he quickly made an impact as a freshman. He started 25 games and averaged 7.5 points and 2.2 assists per game, earning WAC All-Freshman Team honors and scoring in double figures in ten contests.
After Utah Tech, Aric continued his development at Monmouth University before transferring to University of West Florida, where he has emerged as one of the team’s key contributors. At West Florida, he has demonstrated strong offensive efficiency and leadership at the guard position, averaging 14.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, while shooting nearly 49% from the field and over 48% from three-point range.
Standing 6’1” and 180 pounds, Aric plays with a balanced combination of scoring ability, court vision, and defensive energy. His ability to facilitate offense while stretching the floor with perimeter shooting makes him a versatile guard capable of impacting the game in multiple ways.
Off the court, Aric represents the next generation of NIL-ready student-athletes — disciplined, coachable, and committed to building a meaningful personal brand. Through his partnership with IOTO Sports (“It Only Takes One”), he is strategically developing opportunities in brand partnerships, community engagement, and long-term endorsement growth.
