Kingsley “King” Ijeoma is a powerful and versatile Division I forward competing for Canisius University in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Standing 6’8” and 220 pounds, Ijeoma brings a strong interior presence, rebounding ability, and defensive versatility that allows him to impact the game on both ends of the floor.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Ijeoma began his collegiate career at Livingstone College, where he quickly established himself as one of the program’s most productive frontcourt players. During the 2024–25 season he averaged 7.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game, ranking among the top rebounders in the CIAA while appearing in all 27 games and making 23 starts.
His combination of rim protection, rebounding, and interior scoring made him a consistent two-way contributor. Ijeoma recorded multiple double-doubles during the season, highlighted by a 19-point, 12-rebound performance against Bowie State, showcasing his ability to dominate inside the paint.
Following his standout season, Ijeoma transferred to Canisius University to continue his career at the Division I level, bringing experience, size, and defensive presence to the Golden Griffins frontcourt.
Beyond his on-court impact, Ijeoma represents the modern student-athlete — disciplined, coachable, and driven to grow his personal brand while competing at the highest level of college basketball. Through his partnership with IOTO Sports (“It Only Takes One”), he is actively developing opportunities in NIL partnerships, brand collaborations, and community engagement.
